Thank you for contacting the United Kennel Club.
In order to Single Register a dog with UKC, it must presently be registered
with a UKC acknowledged registry. For all breeds we acknowledge AKC, FCI,
The Kennel Club (Great Britain) and Canadian Kennel Club. Unfortunately,
the Bloedlijnen is not a UKC acknowledged registry, and therefore we would
be unable to Single Register your dog.
Please note that examinations and DNA profiling provide limited information
and would not be sufficient to register a dog or verify a dog is purebred.
A dog without registration with an approved registry will not be considered
for registration with UKC.
However, your dog would be eligible for the Limited Privilege Program. To
encourage all dog owners to be active and enjoy time with their dogs, UKC
offers the Limited Privilege Program. This program accepts Mix Bred dogs
(also known as AMBOR), purebred dogs of unknown or incomplete pedigrees and
purebred dogs with disqualifying faults. Dogs enrolled in the LP Program
are eligible to compete in obedience, agility, weight pull or dog sports
programs.
The rules for Limited Privilege Registration are as follows:
1) Submit a Limited Privilege Application (available on our website at
http://www.ukcdogs.com/res/pdf/lpapp.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
2) Proof that the dog is spayed or neutered, signed by a Veterinarian.
3) Fee of $30.00
4) (Optional) if you wish to have the dog identified as a specific breed,
two color photographs (3 inches x 3 inches minimum) of the dog, one
standing in profile and the other a close up of the dog's head must be
submitted so that the dog can be compared to the given breed standard.
Thank you again for contacting us. We appreciate your continued interest in
UKC.
