Hi from Groningen! (Newbie with pics!)

Hoi Iedereen, ik ben Kat vanuit Groningen 
. Mijn Nederlands is niet zo goed sorry! I think i should do my intro in English as my dutch isn't wonderful and it will probably make no sense whatsoever! I moved to Groningen in July 2004 from Northern Ireland and am now living in Groningen with my boyfriend. Dogs are my life and I am very active with dogs in a lot of different sports. I am a qualified Zoologist and canine behaviourist as well as being an approved instructor.
I have 2 dogs. One is a Golden Retriever of 13 years old called Zoe who is a great family pet and the other is a little 8 yr old Border collie bitch called Meg who is my heart dog. I co-own Meg with a lady from N.Ireland and I am really gutted that she isn't with me in the Netherlands.
I have trained Meg since she was an 8 week old puppy and she is an amazing dog to work with. Together we have worked as a partnership and she is now a championship agility and championship obedience dog. We have represented N.Ireland at Crufts for quite a few years and this year we competed in the Crufts Obedience world championships where we came a great 3rd. If anyone watched it on BBC I was the one who nearly decapitated the judge on the recall with distance control lol! Meg is also a certified therapy dog and search and rescue dog. As you can tell she is very versatile and a dog truly in a million. We also do canine freestyle (doggy dancing) and have dabbled in show handling as well.
As for me I'm 23 and a graduate student of Zoology with a lot of exposure to animals. I worked in a vets for 11 and a half years since I was a young child and have also done a lot of behavioural work with dogs, wolves and foxes. I have been active in fostering and rearing abandoned animals as well from puppies and kittens to badgers and foxes. At the moment I am setting up my own business of canine behaviour, training, pet sitting and dog walking in the city of Groningen (http://www.pro-paws.nl . I also am instructing agility and behaviour at a dogschool near Groningen and have just started to instruct classes in Obedience which has proved to be extremely popular as I am told that no other hondenschool within a 60 km radius offers proper obedience and only gehoorzamheid.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and I apologise for my lack of Dutch. I can read it well but the problem comes when I try to write an answer, however I am learning!
I will stop yacking on now and post some pics!
